What is ERC-7401?

ERC-7401 is an innovative Ethereum standard designed to redefine the functionality of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) by enabling nesting capabilities, where one NFT can own or contain other NFTs. This forward-thinking approach allows NFTs to form hierarchical and modular structures, unlocking new opportunities for bundling, organizing, and managing digital assets. By addressing limitations in earlier standards like ERC-6059, ERC-7401 lays the foundation for a more adaptable and dynamic NFT ecosystem.
